Pink galore! Yes, this advent calendar was made specially with my precious girl in mind, but you can change up the colours to suit your tastes, whether it's traditional that you like, or throw in some fun patterns for a twist.
But, besides the fact that these little boxes are stuffed with tiny goodies, they are quite easy to assemble as well. NO SKILL is required in fact, except for following a few simple instructions.
TOOLS & MATERIALS:
Follow the punch board's instructions to make 24 small boxes. I made the smallest size possible which is 1 3/4" x 1 3/4" x 1 3/4". Therefore, I had to first cut all of my sheets into 6" x 6" squares.
Before assembling the boxes, fold all the scored lines.
By doing so, you should be able to assemble the boxes with ease.
Next, download my free SVG file which will provide you with all the calendar dates. Cut them on a sheet of silver card stock. Attach the numbers to the front of the boxes with the crafter's tape. For those tiny pieces that are harder to pick up, like the dots in the "8", use the Silhouette hook that came with your product.
Small boxes require small gifts, such as chocolate balls, tiny punches, washi tape, stickers, and much more! Fill the boxes with your goodies.
Then, add a small pom pom to the top of the first six boxes (if you're going to stack them the same way I did). You can add a pom pom to all of the boxes if you wish. Dab a tiny bit of hot glue to the pom pom itself, and adhere it to the centre of the top of a box.
