Finally, the time is here to share some Christmas crafts!
Making tags and gift wrap for Christmas is where my passion for paper crafting got started.
Today's craft is a basic one, but it allows you to have some fun and be creative. Each of these stocking gift tags were decorated a little differently - in colour, choice of paper, and embellishments - to match a unique gift.
You can make them too if you have a Silhouette CAMEO. The free cut file is below!
TOOLS & MATERIALS:
*There's a whole bunch of shopping options at the bottom of this post! Make sure to open the page in a desktop or tablet to view it all.*
Open your Silhouette Studio software and download this free SVG file to get started. Cut the stockings and stocking folds on card stock or Christmas paper, mixing and matching them to your liking. Use crafter's tape to attach the folds to the stockings.
Decorate with the embellishments. Use craft punches to make shapes, such as snowflakes. Make them pop with foam dots, creating 3D shapes.
Rhinestones with adhesive backings just stick on where you like them to. You can pick them up from dollar stores.
Letter stickers let you write short words like "JOY" and "FA LA LA".
Once you've created a whole bunch of fun stocking tags, string them with baker's twine.
Total project time: 40 to 45 minutes for six stocking tags.
