WOODEN CONVERSATION HEARTS GARLAND

January 29, 2018

For a simple handmade decoration that you can use every Valentine's, make this adorable wooden conversation hearts garland!

The hearts themselves are just under 3" wide.  I picked them up at Michaels (the brand is ArtMinds).  If you've got paints lying around, perfect!  Otherwise, select a bunch of your favourite hues.  The stickers are Recollections, also from Michaels.

TOOLS & MATERIALS:

  • 9 or more wood heart shapes (at 49 cents each)

  • Craft paints

  • Sponge brushes

  • Recollections glitter adhesive letters in white

  • Baker's twine

  • Tape

DIRECTIONS:

1.  Give each heart two coats of paint, then let them dry completely, about 30 minutes.

2.  Add letters in any of the phrases shown (or make up your own!) in the centre of the hearts.

Tape them to baker's twine to hang.

I hope you enjoyed this project, friends!
