DIY BRUSHSTROKE GIFT WRAP & PRINTABLE MERRY TAGS

November 27, 2017

This year I've been having a lot of fun with colour for the holidays, and today's project is no exception.  As promised on Instagram, today you'll have the chance to download my free "MERRY MERRY MERRY" tags, which I think pairs awesome with this brushstroke gift wrapping idea!

For this project, all you need is a few crafts paints, plain wrapping paper, and sponge brushes.  I used a mix of pink, robin's egg blue, and Kraft wrapping paper, then chose paint colours that would stand out.  Paints can be purchased from craft stores, dollar stores, or online at Amazon.

Dab your brush into the paint, then give a quick stroke onto the paper.  One time is enough.  Do this for all the colours.  Then, wait about an hour for the paper to fully dry before wrapping the present.

Once all the gifts are wrapped, download my free printable tags HERE and send to print on white card stock paper.  Use a trimmer to cut them out nice and neat.  They measure about 3 1/2".

If you like a colourful Christmas, then I think this project is for you! I hope you enjoyed it, friends.
