Envelopes can be quite boring, right, when they are just plain white? That's an easy fix. Introducing: washi tape envelope flaps!
To make them is really simple. The next time you have to give a card, birthday or other occasion, stop and gather some washi and select anywhere from three to five patterns that compliment each other. Make sure to have a pair of scissors handy as well.
Stick the washi tape side by side each other working from the fold outward.
Then turn over the envelope and cut along the edges of the flap to remove the overhanging tape.
Easy as pie.
