Hello friends, I hope you all had a wonderful week. If you follow on Instagram, I mentioned that this week I couldn't push myself to get busy and craft. Being that it is the final week before school, I took the time to enjoy every last moment. I will definitely miss these long, lazy summer days, but it will be nice to craft a few Fall projects soon.
September really is an exciting month. For me, the start of a new school year was always such an exciting time. Also, it brings us closer to Fall, my favourite season of all time. But, now I play the mom role, and my daughter goes off to school (Montessori; she is almost 3), and while September is still a month of new beginnings and fresh starts, it is in a different way for me. I can honestly tell you that I am anxious to do a little organizing, both at home and here on the blog, and, today's post will also look a little different that you're used to seeing. I decided to "freshen up" Friday favourites, giving you larger pictures and cleaner text. I hope you'll find it more enjoyable and inspiring too.
1. Create the look of vintage blendo-style bowls with different coloured spray paint.
2. Brush up on your sewing and DIY this much handy wall organizer with this helpful tutorial.
3. Plain glass bottles get an up-lift with food colouring and a secret ingredient.
4. Print off these free mermaid tail cupcake toppers to surprise guests at your next party.
Once again, I will remind you of the hashtag I created on Instagram: #whcfeatures. Use it to share your projects and you may see it featured in an upcoming Friday favourites post!
Well friends, Labour Day weekend is upon us, so I may not see you until Tuesday. I hope you all have a beautiful one!
