Happy Monday friends. I have been sharing with you every Monday in August some of my favourite posts from White House Crafts. I started this blog and shop one year ago, and this month has been a bit of a celebration of posts and to recap some past projects.
A few weeks ago, I covered a few favourite paper crafts, followed by some DIY ideas, and then last Monday I shared projects you can do with washi tape. This week I'm focusing on kids crafts. I have a little one, who is soon to be 3, and so I enjoy making things with her and for her. I also have an older niece and two nephews. I think kids crafts will be in my future for a while.

FAVOURITE KIDS CRAFTS FROM WHITE HOUSE CRAFTS
For my daughter's 2nd birthday, I made some homemade (and totally safe) play dough for a kid's activity at the party. It lasted a few months in its container before it got a little oily and I had to throw it away (we didn't use it too often), but it's easy and quick to make again.
My daughter loves bugs (I'm finding that out more and more!), and we crafted these colourful ladybugs one afternoon. If these ones look too perfect, it's because they're all mine! (hers are hanging safely on the wall in my craft room).
I shared a free printable Pin the Butterflies game as butterflies was the theme at her last party. I had it printed at Staples, and the butterflies were created with a craft punch on some colourful scrapbook paper.
I made these button earrings in her favourite colour and gave them to her as a gift for Valentine's Day, but I can see these as a cute and inexpensive loot bag idea as well.
And speaking of Valentine's, a fun, easy craft to do with kids are these adorable cupid's arrows:
P I N M E !
Next Monday I will share the last of this five-part series, and it will be on projects for the home. I hope you will join me.
Have a great day friends, and thank you for following along!
