I love buying these mini paper rolls in the bargain section at Michaels:
You can find the most beautiful and intricate patterns for less than a toonie! (For those of you who don't know what that is, it's a two dollar coin!) :)
And you get so much out of them. However, as interesting as these patterns may be, sometimes it's hard to find the perfect tag to match.
So I found a solution: make a tag using the same paper!
This easy tip was brought on by trying to find something to compliment this package I wrapped for my mom's birthday earlier this week:
I couldn't. So I decided to use the same paper to make a pretty tag.
It's easy, but you need a few tools first:
Any large craft punch
White card stock
Let me stress the importance of using a heavy weight paper than a regular sheet of printer paper:
The wrapping paper adheres better to it, and it gives a smooth surface - ready for cut.
It reduces the chance of tears when the shape is punched out.
Thanks all for taking a look today. If you have further tips to add to this project, leave it in the comments!
