DIY PUMPKIN STRAWS USING DOLLAR STORE FINDS

October 23, 2015

Halloween is just around the corner! Sometimes I can't believe it myself.  In two months it will be Christmas! Where does the time go?

This project is a fun one to do if you have kids, or if you're hosting a Halloween soiree - you decide.  It's super easy and quick too, and you can find it all from the dollar store!

TOOLS & MATERIALS:

  • Foam pumpkin stickers

  • Black and orange paper straws

  • Black card stock or construction paper

  • Scissors

  • Hot glue gun

DIRECTIONS:

I purchased the stickers and straws from Dollarama.  Simply, I cut small rectangles of paper and stuck them to the back of the pumpkins.  Then, I hot glued the pumpkins to the straws, and voila!

If you are worried about glitter getting into your drinks, I wouldn't worry too much.  I rubbed the pumpkins with my finger to test, and no glitter fell off.

Cheers!
