Hi all, I hope you're having a fantastic day so far.
I just wanted to stop by today to show you this card I crafted for my hubby for our 8 year anniversary. I still can't believe how quickly 8 years has come and gone. In that time, we've owned two houses, adopted 3 cats, and had one beautiful baby girl, and lots and lots of memories, tears, and happy moments - I can't even imagine what it would be like to celebrate 25 or 50 years! I'm sure it will fly by just as quickly though, but let's not even think about that yet!
Card making is what I do. Although I've seen many beautiful cards in the stores, I always try my best to make something of my own. I always think handmade gifts make the most cherishable gifts, plus, I really have fun making them too :)
I covered the front of a blank white card with this striped paper. It was part of a Valentine pack I purchased years ago, so the reds and pinks are evident and perfect for a card of love.
Next, I typed out the message on PicMonkey in a Mission Script font, and printed it on white card stock. Then I punched it out with a circle punch. After I glued the circle to the centre of the card, I added our "hearts" (in pink) and one red heart on top of them with glue.
I slipped it into the matching envelope and that was that.
Thanks all for taking a look. I hope you are having beautiful day, and if you ever want to make something special for your spouse, remember that a project that comes from the heart is the most beautiful gift of all.
