The weather here is still warm, reaching the mid-20s in the afternoon, but it isn't stopping me from bringing a little autumn vibe to our home. This morning I put together this simple "FALL" banner, which I'm sharing with you. Simple handmade projects like this make my house feel more like a home. You can make this banner too, with a little time and a few supplies.
TOOLS & MATERIALS:
Choose a scrapbook paper you love. My banner isn't really "fallish" in colour, but goes with the colours in my home. Then, trim 4 rectangles. I made mine 3.5 x 5 inches large.
Punch two holes at the top of each paper.
Then, carefully adhere the letters, making them as centre as possible. Spell out the word "FALL".
Feed a length of jute twine through the banner. Cut lengths of washi tape and press together between the banner, and on either ends. Believe it or not, I picked up the washi tape from Dollarama. Then, cut the ends of the tape in a "v" shape.
I hung my banner up on my kitchen chalkboard.
Total project time: about 20 minutes.
