MAY PAPER CRAFT CHALLENGE DAY 8: PAPER CHAIN INCHWORMS
The classic paper chain craft comes back today in the form of these adorable inchworms!
For this May Paper Craft Challenge, you'll need all the bright colours and a pair of googly eyes. For parents, help children by assisting with the hot glue gun.
TOOLS & MATERIALS:
Card stock (choose 5 colours)
Small circle punch (optional)
8 mm googly eyes
DIRECTIONS (FOR ONE INCHWORM):
Trim paper into 11 strips of 1" x 4". Then cut two small strips, plus the circles with a punch or scissors, for the antennas.
Assemble the paper chain by applying a thin layer of hot glue to one end of the paper strips. Overlap the paper by just less than a 1/4". Alternate the colours as you do so.
Glue the little dots to the antenna bottoms, and then glue them to the back of the inchworm's head.
You're almost finished. Next, glue on a pair of googly eyes! This fun little craft becomes a toy to play with afterwards.
Total project time: about 30 minutes for two inchworms.
