MAY PAPER CRAFT CHALLENGE DAY 1: "HAPPY SPRING" GARLAND
Hello friends, and welcome to the first challenge! In salute to Spring, here's a colourful and playful garland that you can make.

In each of these projects, I'll have help from my crafting tools. Where I can, I share links as to where you can buy them too. Scissors work as a good substitute too!
TOOLS & MATERIALS:
Card stock (plain and glitter)
Butterfly punch (similar product)
Small adhesive rhinestones
Scissors
DIRECTIONS:

Choose card stock in colours that you love. I went with bright hues to liven up the season. Then, trim 11 4" x 6 1/2" rectangles to cut into pendants. Follow the instructions on the punch board to do just that.

Download the free SVG file of letters that spell out "HAPPY SPRING". If you don't have a Silhouette at home, you can substitute for poster board stickers. Attach each letter with the crafter's tape.

Use craft punches such as a butterfly and flower punch to decorate the garland. To layer the butterflies on glitter paper, use a hot glue gun. Add rhinestones to the centre of the flowers.

Randomly place them on the pendants and tape in place.

Finally, string the pendants into one long garland or two mini ones.

Total project time: about 1 hour.
