3D COLOURFUL PAPER LADYBUGS

Let's not let the summer pass us by without at least one cute critter craft. Learn how to make these paper ladybugs with just a few small tools!

TOOLS & MATERIALS:

DIRECTIONS (FOR ONE BUG):

Use the largest of the circle punches to make three identical shapes. Fold each one in half.

Use the crafter's tape to adhere the shapes together, but leave the back flat. Cut the head of the ladybug with the 1" circle punch. Tape it to the body. Then attach two small googly eyes to the head. If they're not adhesive, you can use the crafter's tape for this too.

Add spots to the ladybug's body with the 3/8" circle punch.

Finally, cut two longer strips of paper for the antennas. Attach them to the back of the head and curl the ends with a rounded pen or pencil.

Total project time: about 45 minutes for six paper ladybugs.
