GLITTERY PAPER PUMPKINS WREATH (WITH FREE TEMPLATE)
The autumn season is what you make it. My look may not be as traditional as it used to be, and it shows in my crafts too! Case in point, here is my latest Fall make: a colourful and glittery pumpkin wreath!
You can make one too, in the look you like. It's simple with my free template, but you'll need to start with the following items:
TOOLS & MATERIALS:
Glitter card stock paper (including brown for stems)
12" floral craft ring (by Ashland at Michaels)
Download this free SVG file (or cut and trace from the PDF HERE), to make four small pumpkins and seven large ones with the Silhouette. Cut the stems on brown paper; there are two sizes for them as well. Then tape a stem to the back of a pumpkin.
Arrange the pattern on the floral ring (if you choose to copy mine exactly) before gluing the pumpkins to make sure it's exactly what you want. If you need to add more, then you'll have to go back to cut a few more. Then add dabs of hot glue to the ring itself to adhere a pumpkin. You don't need too much glue.
To make the smaller pumpkins pop out just a little bit, apply foam dots in the place where they'll go and glue the pumpkin to the foam dots.
Once the wreath is complete, add a bow, or simply use ribbon to hang it.
Total project time: about 1 hour.
