DIY RHINESTONE ICE CREAM CARD (WITH FREE SVG)
Sparkles galore! No one would ever believe that this gorgeous ice cream card made with dollar store bought rhinestones is a DIY.
But in order to make one, you'll need a Silhouette CAMEO. That's because it would be a little difficult making the cone look like a waffle cone using paper without one. If you don't have one you can certainly skip the step, and use alternative methods such as a brown marker.
Once you open the file (first download it HERE!), you'll have to separate the two shapes and cut one on Kraft card stock, and the other on glitter paper to match. Use crafter's tape to adhere both pieces to the front of a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" card.
Then get yourself some adhesive rhinestones from a dollar store. I bought all different sizes that I could find because you'll need a few smaller rhinestones to fill in the gaps. Create the basic outline of the ice cream with the larger rhinestones. If you need to, use a pencil to draw it out first, but be aware that it may show thru.
Then fill in the rest with all the rhinestones! So simple, and oh so pretty.
This card would make a lovely gift for a summer birthday or other occasion. And when the person comments on just how pretty it is, a smile and wink will do.
Total project time: about 20 minutes from start to finish.
