MAY PAPER CRAFT CHALLENGE DAY 20: ICE CREAM GARLAND
Who's ready for ice cream?!
Those warm nearly-summer nights are finally here for strolls alongside the lake with a good ice cream cone in hand. So here's a cute ice cream craft to celebrate many evenings like that to come!
TOOLS & MATERIALS:
Mini score board (similar)
Card stock (in many different colours)
Download the free SVG file of the cone shape. Cut them on Kraft paper on your Silhouette. Then use the scoring board to score the cones on a diagonal, giving them the "waffle" look.
Punch a bunch of circle shapes. Three "scoops" will make one ice cream, so you'll need plenty for an entire garland.
Attach the scoops together in a triangle with the crafter's tape.
Run a strip of crafter's tape along the top of the cone and attach to the ice cream. Then further secure it from the back with tape.
Finally, attach the ice cream cones to the baker's twine with tape.
Total project time: about 30 minutes for a 12-piece garland.
