MAY PAPER CRAFT CHALLENGE DAY 14: GEOMETRIC GARLAND

Garlands are a festive addition to a party or back deck or anywhere in your home that needs a little pep. What makes these one "geometric" are not only the shapes, but the patterns in the papers themselves! They take a little time to assemble, but they are one of these easiest paper crafts that you can make. You can also get rid of a ton of scrap paper here, which as you know is the whole purpose of this May paper challenge!

TOOLS & MATERIALS:

DIRECTIONS (FOR ONE GARLAND):

First cut all the shapes. I did exactly 2 sets of four circles, and 2 sets of five squares (keep going to make yours longer! Mine only measure 2' when assembled).

Cut some twine and tape the shapes to it, alternating the shapes and patterns.

Turn it over and use the crafter's tape to apply more shapes over the existing ones to make the garland double-sided.

Total project time: about 40 minutes for two garlands.
