MAY PAPER CRAFT CHALLENGE DAY 8: 3D HOT AIR BALLOON GARLAND
I am so loving today's paper project because of all the colours! I used about ten different colours of card stock paper to create a hot air balloon garland. Talk about using up those scraps, which is exactly what this paper challenge is all about! Did I mention, it also looks super cute hanging up?
Here's everything you need to make one too.
TOOLS & MATERIALS:
Card stock (min. 5 colours)
For every hot air balloon, punch out five circles in five different colours.
Fold each circle in half.
Attach them all together by applying the crafter's tape, but do not create a sphere.
To make sure the back stays flat, add a piece a tape.
Now create the buckets with the tag punch. Insert the Kraft paper into the punch, but only cut half the shape. Make one for every balloon.
Cut a short length of twine and tape to the buckets.
Attach the balloons to the buckets via the twine with tape.
Once all balloons are assembled, punch two small holes at the top of every one. Cut a length of twine, and string them all thru.
Total project time: about 45 minutes for one 7 pc. garland.
