MAY PAPER CRAFT CHALLENGE DAY 7: CACTUS WITH A PUNCH
Literally. My super duper oval punch is what I used to create the shapes for all the cacti in this post. Can it get any simpler than that?!
If you don't own one though, you'll want to shop for it HERE. I like how punches speed up the process and make the shapes look neat. Plus, I've never been good at cutting (*wink*).
TOOLS & MATERIALS:
Green card stock
Martha Stewart's "Thank You" punch (optional)
Punch a minimum of five oval shapes to make one cactus.
Adhere three pieces together from the top down. Then use the other two to make the arm, copying the look of a saguaro.
You can use the Martha Stewart punch to make the little flowers if you have it. I thought the shape was perfect. But, any small flower punch will do. Paste one or two at the tips of the plant.
A whole bunch of them will make some cute art!
Total project time: about 10 minutes for three cacti.
