3D PAPER PEEPS ORNAMENTS (WITH FREE TEMPLATE)
If there is one cute Easter craft you have to make this season, it's this: 3D paper Peeps ornaments!
I used my Silhouette CAMEO for this project, but you can also use scissors to make the shapes. Either way, there's a download available in both SVG and PDF in today's post (keep on reading to find them).
TOOLS & MATERIALS:
Card stock (at least four colours to mix it up), plus brown for the eyes and nose
1. Download this SVG file and place a sheet of card stock on the cutting mat to cut all seven shapes to make one 3D Peep (if you don't have a cutting machine, use this PDF file to trace the shapes and cut out with scissors). Hole punch three small circles in the brown paper and glue them down to create the face of the Peep.
2. Fold the six circle shapes in half.
3. Use the crafter's tape to adhere two groups of three circles together, and then attach them the front and back of the Peep.
4. Hole punch a small hole at the head of the Peep to feed the ribbon thru. Tie a double-knot to finish off the ornament.
Total project time: about 30 minutes for four Peeps.
