GLITTER WASHI TAPE TASSELS
Happy hump day, and first day of November!
I originally intended for today's post to be a holiday project, but the reality is that these pretty glitter washi tape tassels can be made for any occasion. Because of their sparkly nature, I do happen to think about the Christmas holidays when I seem them though. If that's the case, get a head start in making these because I can see them for use on trees, gifts, stockings, and more!
TOOLS & MATERIALS:
Glitter washi tape (minimum 3)
White printer paper
Embroidery floss or thread
You can purchase the gold and silver washi tapes that I used for this project right HERE in the shop!
DIRECTIONS (PER TASSEL):
1. Adhere four strips of washi tape side-by-side each other on the printer paper. Then, trim around the tape and make one 6" long piece.
2. Cut thin strips along one side as shown up to about 1/2" from the top. Make a flap from one end.
3. Cut a length of floss and tape it to the back as shown.
4. Gently roll the paper to create the tassel, finally hot gluing the flap to secure it. Press and hold for a few seconds.
Thanks for taking a look today friends. What would you do with these pretty glitter tassels?
