PAPER PUNCHED ENVELOPE FLAP BORDERS

For a paper crafter like myself, craft punches are by far one of the greatest inventions. They have most certainly come in handy for many posts shared here over the years. Today's project uses an edger punch to - pack some envelope punch! Like how I did that? *wink*

I used the Fleur de Lis edger punch by EK Tools to create pretty little borders on envelope flaps. To make one, first, I punched the edging on a sheet of card stock paper, two punches per side (however, you may need more depending on the size of your envelope).

Then, I used a paper trimmer to cut my edging out, leaving a thin strip of about 1/4".

Then I separated them with a pair of scissors.

Lastly, I glued them on one by one to the envelope flap.

A simple, little project to add colour to plain, ol' envelopes.

I hope you enjoyed this project, friends. Thanks for taking a look! :)
