POPSICLE STICKS APPLE CRAFT
Craft punches are your friend again in this project (however, they are just optional), to create fun little apples with popsicle stick cores! You can look at this as another going back-to-school craft or one for Fall (minus the ABC stickers). Either way, it's simple, cheap, and entertaining for both kids and adults.
TOOLS & MATERIALS:
Popsicle sticks (minimum 3 per apple)
Card stock in red, yellow, green (light and dark), and brown
Paper trimmer or scissors
DIRECTIONS (PER APPLE):
1. Align three popsicle sticks together and secure them with tape.
2. Punch a large circle for the apple's skin and use the trimmer or scissors to cut it into two halves. Tape each end to the popsicle sticks.
3. Cut a thin, short strip of brown paper for the apple's stem. Use the small punch to create a circle on the light shaded green paper. Use it again to make the leaf shape on the circle.
4. Tape both the stem and leaf to one end of the apple.
Once all the apples are complete, use sticker letters to spell out a name or the ABC's.
Thanks for taking a look at this simple craft today, friends. This could also make a really cute teacher's gift to hang to the blackboard!
Have a great day :)
