FRINGED CREPE PAPER TREAT BAGS

Crepe paper treat bags made with a cute fringe, and filled with goodies from the bulk store, are the perfect addition to any party.

I actually have a hard time finding crepe paper sold in sheets, especially for a quick project. So instead, I used streamers I purchased from a dollar store.

The bags are so simple to make, all you need is:

TOOLS & MATERIALS:

DIRECTIONS (PER BAG):

1. Cut streamer lengths longer than the width of the bag.

2. Gather them up and apply cuts to create a fringe look (if you have fringing scissors, bonus!)

3. Attach the paper from the bottom-up, by first applying a strip of glue to the bag, then gently pressing the top of the crepe paper to the glue. Add another stripe of glue above it, and insert another colour streamer. Do this until you reach the top.

4. Turn the bag over to make it easier to cut off the extra paper on the ends.

A simple, added-touch for a fun and colourful celebration!
