8 UNIQUE WAYS TO WRAP A HOLIDAY GIFT
My love for paper started at Christmas. It started with gift wrap in fact. However, in today's post you'll notice one thing: most of the paper you'll see isn't Christmas-y at all. That's the beauty of choice. And expression. Today, I'm truly expressing my tastes through wrap, and the many ways you can customize holiday gifts without even using a single bow!
8 UNIQUE WAYS TO WRAP GIFTS
Blue & Gold:

This week, I had the chance to get quite a few gifts wrapped, but my selection of paper and ribbon, and even the glitter card stock, was something I accumulated over travels and online over the past several months. Lately I've been leaning towards gold (but there is a surprise colour at the end of this post!) Gold is like a neutral to me - it looks amazing with blue, and is also a great backdrop to a more natural material choice: jute. To make the tags, use craft punches and paper of coordinating colours.

Black & Gold:

Patterned paper is my ultimate weakness. Then I found the black ribbon (I don't normally go black for the holidays), and I loved how it paired with the glitter tape on the Kraft paper gift. But where I really had fun with these gifts was using the gold letters to spell out the names of people receiving them.

For this Kraft paper package, I used gold adhesive circles and applied them randomly to the paper before wrapping the gift. That's the nice thing of having paper that's plain and neutral. My glitter paper happened to match, so I used a craft punch to make a tag out of it.
The poinsettia leaves were purchased, and are stick on. A cluster of them on top of a gift makes a higher impact than a single one.

Red & White:

I never celebrated Christmas, or missed covering a gift, without some form of red. Although red is not my first colour of choice, it is the colour I associate with Christmas. I may add gold, blue, or some rustic touches, but red will always make an appearance somewhere. To top that off, I really liked this wrapping paper when I saw it, so to have it was a no brainer. The brooch is adhered with a hot glue gun.

Have you started your gift wrapping? I could do it for hours (and I did!), and can't wait to wrap a few more.
Have a wonderful day, friends.
