MY 2016 HOLIDAY CARD COLLECTION & A GIVEAWAY!

Hello friends, I hope you're enjoying your weekend so far.

With Christmas only weeks away, life just got a lot busier. Our weekends are booking up fast, and I haven't even put up a Christmas tree yet! How about you?

The good news is that for a few weeks now, you've been able to shop and stock up on my 2016 holiday card collection. I still enjoy sending out cards by mail at Christmas, and push myself to do so by the first week of December to ensure friends and family receive their greetings on time (and have time to enjoy them too!) But, whether you like to send cards, or attach them to gifts, today's post is another look at the collection in detail, plus, I'm offering a giveaway to one lucky winner! (See end of post.)

Time constraints on my end allowed me to create only seven different looks, which is still a good number, but with all of the ideas I had swimming in my head, I was hoping to have a lot more for you to choose from. Nevertheless, I'm happy with the way my cards turned out this year.

I have four regular-size cards (the ones I always have listed at 4 x 5.5 inches):

First, my stacked holiday presents card features glitter paper and soft colours, and the top box reads "FA LA LA". A satin ribbon finishes it off.

My gift bags card uses a new material in my work: tissue paper. It's stuffed in the Kraft paper bags that sparkle with gold glitter paper, and jute makes up the handles.

My baubles card uses custom paper and touches of glitter, and shiny gold bells top off the larger of the three ornaments.

Finally, my merry and bright tree card sparkles with colourful rhinestones and a shiny yellow star.

For the first time in WHC history, I introduced my mini cards, sold in sets of two. They are only 3 x 3 inches, and perfect for those tiny gifts on your shopping list. They all feature glitter (if you can't tell, I am a huge glitter fan around this time of year!), and my "JOY" cards feature die-cut lettering in textured card stock, and lots of bling bling with rhinestones.

Which brings me to the G I V E A W A Y! I'm giving one lucky winner a set of each of my mini cards (that's 6 cards total!) To enter, simply leave a comment in this post. You must be a resident of Canada or the United States to be an eligible entry. One winner will be selected at random when this contest closes on Saturday, November 26 at 11:59 pm. You will be contacted by Facebook the following day, and have 48 hours to reply to receive the prize. Your name will also appear there on my page when I announce the winner (@whitehousecraftsblogandshop).

This is my way of saying thank you for over a year of support and kindness from all of you. :)

For more information on my cards, feel free to visit the SHOP pages. It may not show it in the photographs, but my cards always come with matching white envelopes. I do work hard on them, and create them with great care. I hope you enjoy them!

And before I go, thank you to all who have supported the shop so far. It keeps this website going and my heart filled with gratitude :)

Good luck, friends!
