HOW TO MAKE PIMPED-OUT MUMMY GIFT TAGS
I never thought I would use the words "pimped-out" in this blog, but there you have it in the title! What makes these mummy tags pimping is the silver glitter washi tape that I used to make them. I love washi crafts, and this easy and cute Halloween project is no exception.
TOOLS & MATERIALS:
Black card stock
Mini circle punch (in the bargain bins at Michaels)
DIRECTIONS (FOR ONE TAG):
1. Gather your supplies.
2. Punch out the tag shape.
3. Cut four pieces of washi and overlap them in a diagonal pattern.
4. Turn the tag over and cut off the washi ends.
5. Punch two small circles for the eyes.
6. Glue the circles down first, then follow with the googly eyes on top.
Note that a glue stick won't work here because it doesn't adhere well to the washi tape. That's why I used a white glue, and the fine tip of the Martha Stewart glittering glue makes it a cinch to work with on small surfaces.
