ONE YEAR OF: PAPER CRAFTS
Hello friends! How has your summer been so far? It feels great to be back blogging after a few weeks off. Happy long weekend to my Canadian friends - today is a civic holiday for most of us in Canada. I hope you're making the most of it.
August marks a special month for me because it is the shop and blog's one year anniversary! Every Monday in August, I will celebrate with a post of some of my favourite projects from the last year. Today, I'm starting off with some paper crafts that I've truly enjoyed making and some that are your favourite posts of all time.
Since I make and sell handmade cards in my SHOP, working with paper is my favourite thing to do above all.
Paper can be used to make pretty things (like the paper flowers you see above), but it can also be a very functional device (think envelopes and bags cleverly crafted with paper). Paper can also be used to make adorable garlands, gift tags, special party decorations, and other crafty things.
Below are a few of my favourite paper crafts from my blog.

A heavy card stock created these tiny functional envelopes, which are the right fit for gift cards, but even small gifts such as jewellery:
Hubby surprised me with an adorable mason jar craft punch one day that led me to create this cute garland for my kitchen in a pinch:
On National Popcorn Day, I celebrated with DIY paper popcorn bags for the whole family. You won't believe how simple they are to make:
To celebrate and accompany my Mother's Day gifts, I made these pretty paper tags for mom using glitter letters in all fun phrases:

I hope you enjoyed today's post. Next week's category is DIY projects, including a few paint and wood projects. I hope to see you then too!
Have a beautiful day, friends :)
