INSTAGRAM PHOTO DISPLAY ON PAINTED CANVASES
A few weeks ago, I picked up some 8 x 10 inch canvases from a dollar store. My mind went back and forth on what to do with them, until an idea finally struck (it seems that's how a lot of my projects come to fruition!) I have been posting a lot on Instagram, and I do love how some of the photos have turned out. After four years with my DSLR Canon, I think I have finally figured out the basics of my camera!
Instagram photos can be some of the most precious memories one has. As a craft blogger, or anyone with a business Instagram account, this is also good way to display all your hard work or favourite projects.
TOOLS & MATERIALS:
Two or more 8 x 10 inch blank canvases from a dollar store
Simply Acrylic paint in Magenta (I purchased mine at Walmart)
Newspaper or cardboard
4 x 4 inch Instagram prints (I printed mine with Black's)
First, paint the canvases. Lay down newspaper or cardboard to protect your table's surface. Start at the top and add a small dab of paint to canvas. Apply with brush in a continuous left and right motion. Add more paint if necessary as you work your way down the canvas. Let it dry fully (about 30 minutes) before the next steps.
Cut lengths of twine, two per canvas. Attach twine to canvases using tape. I pulled the twine tight around mine.
Hang your favourite Instagram photos with the clothespins and you're done!
I printed more photos than I needed for this project, but I can always switch them up (or make more canvases!) Each canvas only takes about 10 minutes to make, not including drying time.

I hope you enjoyed today's project. How do you display your Instagram prints?
Have a lovely day friends.
