LOLLIPOP SUMMER GARLAND WITH WASHI TAPE
Hello friends, happy first day of summer! I'll be honest with you, today kind of creeped up on me. I didn't even realize it was the first day of summer until I was kindly reminded on social media! So, for a quick summer project I turned to one of my favourite craft supplies: washi tape. This project is so easy, and the possibilities are endless! My lollipop garland can be used in many ways (think birthday parties, summer BBQ's on the patio, and so on and so forth). I hope you enjoy it!
TOOLS & MATERIALS:
Washi tape in several patterns or colours
White card stock
String (to hang)
Follow steps 2 and 3 in this post to make your circle shapes with washi. Then, simply tape them to popsicle sticks, which you can purchase from craft stores (I also know that Walmart sells them in the kids craft section). You can also substitute the popsicle sticks for lollipop sticks if you wish.
Punch two holes at the top of each lollipop.
Feed the string through and hang in desired location.
I didn't make my garland very long, so it was the right fit for my kitchen chalkboard.
Hope you all have a great day. Here it's calling for some afternoon rain, but let's hope it holds up!
