5 CRAFT TOOLS I CANNOT DO WITHOUT

I get myself into all sorts of crafts. Even though I own a card shop, I do more than just paper craft. You've seen proof in this blog.

That being said, I have tools of all kinds, but more often than not I find myself using the same ones over and over again. In this post, I will share with you my favourite craft tools that I cannot do without and where you can find them!

5 AWESOME CRAFT TOOLS I CANNOT DO WITHOUT

1. PAPER TRIMMER

I use a paper trimmer so much that I'm actually on my second trimmer since I began taking my card business more serious last year. I still have my original Martha Stewart one, but I wore it out that not even a swap for a new blade gives a clean cut to my card stock. So earlier this year, I invested in this Fiskar's brand and so far I love it! It cuts clean and the wire line helps with more accurate measurements.

2. EMBELLISHING GLUE

Crucial to my card making business is having a very fine point glue stick for adhering things like rhinestones, ribbon, and texts to my cards. I have found my favourite in Martha Stewart's glittering glue, in these tiny, 3 inch long sticks.

3. HOLE PUNCH

Before I discovered this Recollections hole punch, I was still using my metal one from high school. It was beginning to rust and was painful to use. My pink one comes with rubber handles, and after so many uses, it's still awesome!

4. FABRIC SCISSORS

I call them my fabric scissors, although they may have a more proper term. I have had this baby (SIMILAR) for almost 10 years, and bought them from a fabric store to cut custom fabric I once purchased to cover up old storage boxes. They are super sharp, and any time I need to cut some yarn or ribbon, I go for them.

5. HOT GLUE GUN

It may not have made many photographs, but my hot glue gun came in handy for a few projects. I was recently gifted with the Surebonder, and the high/low temperature setting with upright stand was an upgrade to my small, plain version.
