A few weeks ago, I shared a photo on Instagram of this pretty-in-turquoise print:

I actually made the print a few years ago, and it's been in our living room ever since. A few summers ago, I went through a blue period where I fell in love with anything that was either teal or navy or turquoise, and I made this print to showcase my new obsession. With Spring just around the corner, I thought I would share this print today because I think it's a beautiful colour to welcome in Spring.

I move art around all the time, but currently I have the print in a 5x7 IKEA Ribba frame on a white bookcase in our living room. We bought the piece, also from IKEA, to use as a toy storage cabinet. I try to conceal the toys and books in these boxes that I found at the Real Canadian Superstore. They were only $12 a piece, which I thought was a steal.

Tomorrow, come back to see how I made the custom wood tags for the boxes.

But in the meantime, paired with my print is this pretty geometric piece available through Minted. Minted has always been a great source of affordable art for me. It's also framed in IKEA's Ribba frame.

See below to download your free copy of my "My Happy Place" print!

I would recommend printing on card stock or photo paper before framing.
