THE EASIEST WAY TO MAKE A SHIMMERY BALL ORNAMENT

This project requires three things:
Plastic ornaments
Craft Bond Spray Adhesive (or white glue - for a classroom)
Ornament flakes
...plus twine to hang them.
I bought these ornaments at a local store, but you can try dollar stores and craft stores. Make sure to look for ornaments that break into halves.
Spray the inside of the ornament, and sprinkle with the flakes (the same flakes I used to make my snow globes). Stir the flakes around inside with your finger until they completely cover the surface. Shake out excess flakes.

Then, join the ornament back together, and use your fingers to pull out flakes that peek through the seam. Tie a ribbon through and you're done!

Here's how they shine in the light:

This project will also make a cute take home gift from school. I would recommend white glue and a sponge brush because the spray is highly toxic for kids.
