Last August when I launched this website, I made sure that it had two important components: a blog to record and share with the world my craft and DIY projects; and a shop where I could sell my handmade greeting cards and gift tags. So you see there's a theme, and that theme is crafts.

I craft, I write about crafts, and I sell crafts. So there's no surprise that my holiday wish list this year comprises of a selection of craft tools and storage options to keep me rolling out the projects all year long.

The items in this list have been specifically chosen for my wants and needs, but there are some pretty cool tools here I would recommend for anyone. For instance, the Silhouette Cameo die cutting machine (1) is at the top of my list. It offers endless possibilities including making and decorating with vinyl, creating custom stamps and invitations, and designing custom apparel. I've used my corded glue gun for over 8 years, and I find that the cord is too short and the gun is too small. I like this version (4), which is cordless and stands upright. So convenient! The rolling cart (5) would be an awesome addition to my craft room too, as I'm constantly moving things around on a project by project basis. And finally the Heidi Swapp Minc mini foil applicator machine (7) is a pretty neat tool too for the woman in your life who likes to make things just a little prettier!

If crafting is your thing too, I'd like to know... What's on your holiday wish list this year?
