DIY GOOGLY EYES HALLOWEEN CARD
It's unbelievable that we are already half way finished October. On the bright side though, it brings me closer to my favourite holiday yet! Can you guess which one? Although I cannot wait to get started crafting for Christmas (which I've been doing only for the shop at this point), let's not get too far ahead of ourselves. I always feel that Fall is too short, so I'm embracing every single day to the max this year.
With this post I bring you a simple card craft that adults or kids can do with adult supervision. It's easy, it's fun, and down right cute as well.
TOOLS & MATERIALS:
Pre-scored card in whatever size you can find (mine is about 5 x 4 inches)
Black construction paper or card stock
First, glue the paper to the face of the card with the glue stick, then trim it to the card's dimensions.
Hot glue the googly eyes to the respective buttons which it fits. I made four large eyes and two small ones. Then, hot glue the buttons in pairs randomly on the card.
Now you've got spooky eyes in darkness looking back at you! Who or what is behind the eyes? That's up to you!
You can buy already scored cards with matching envelopes from stores like Walmart, Michaels, and DeSerres. If you want to make them from scratch however, you can do that too. In a future post, I'll show you how to make a card and envelope using paper.
Hope you all enjoyed this post. Have a good day, friends.
