DIY CANDY CORN BOOKMARKS IN MINUTES
Here is a fun Halloween project to do for your little bookworm, or in lieu of candy for the children at your kid's school, and so on. The candy corn is a symbol of Halloween treats, and these fun bookmarks in candy corn style take only minutes to make!

TOOLS & MATERIALS:
Card stock in white, orange, and yellow
Glue stick
Paper trimmer (not shown above)
Craft punch
Candy corn ribbon
Scissors
DIRECTIONS:
Glue the orange card stock lengthwise over the yellow one leaving about 1 3/4 inch yellow showing. Do the same gluing the white card stock over the orange one. Use the paper trimmer to create the shape of a bookmark. Mine is about 1 3/4 x 6 inches. (On 8.5 x 11 inch card stock, you can get 6 bookmarks.)

Punch two holes at the top of the bookmark approximately half an inch apart. I like using a craft punch. I find it's stronger than a regular hole punch. Feed about a 7 inch length of ribbon through and tie a double knot. You can find ribbon like this at craft stores. Cut ribbon ends in a "v" shape. You're done!

Older kids experienced with a paper trimmer can make these too!
Have you started your Halloween crafting? I like that I can make a bunch of these in less than an hour!
