DIY BUTTERFLY ART FOR A CHILD'S ROOM
This is a great project for a little girl's room. In my daughter's bedroom, there is a small frame and a dress hook both in a butterfly motif. So it was a no brainer to continue the theme for new art to go above her crib.

TOOLS & MATERIALS:
Scrapbook paper in off-white, and soft blue, pink, and purple
Glue stick
Hammer and nails
DIRECTIONS:
Make the first frame. Trim the off-white paper to fit inside the frame. This will become the backdrop for the art.
Punch out eight blue butterflies and one pink one. Align them with your finger on the backdrop, spacing the butterflies evenly apart. Once you're satisfied, glue the butterflies by applying glue just to their centres. This gives the butterflies a floating effect.

Fit artwork into frame after wiping clean the glass. Repeat all steps for frame #2.
Then, hang the artwork up!

Each frame took about 20 minutes to complete. The joy it will bring to my daughter's room - timeless!
