This is one of those projects that can easily become addictive. Once you get the hang of it, you can be rolling out a dozen flowers in an hour. In a way, that's a good thing, if you're looking for a craft where you need a large quantity in a short time. Below, I will show you how to craft these easy as pie paper flowers. Use them to dress up a gift package, make art, or a beautiful card. This could also be an elegant project for the DIY bride.

For each flower, you will have to choose two complimentary sheets of scrapbook paper. Once you do, punch out five hearts in each pattern. Fold hearts in half.

Apply the glue stick to the fold (as shown). Adhere to the white part of another folded heart. Repeat this step until all "petals" have been secured and the flower is complete.

Punch out two circles on the green card stock. Use the glue stick to glue a circle to the centre of the flower on the flat side. Use the glue gun to adhere a circle to the flower's centre on the front side. It will adhere better than the glue stick.

You now have yourself a completed flower.

This project is also kid-friendly, but a grownup should be present for the last step using the glue gun.
