Hello and happy Friday, friends! This Friday favourites comes a week late. I meant to have a Valentine's edition for you last week, but a cold knocked me right out for a few days and I didn't get on here at all. With the renovation of my craft room/entire basement commencing next week, I decided that I am also going to take a break from the blog. That doesn't mean that I will cease to craft altogether, but most of my tools and items are packed away. If I do happen to get a
I am in shock at how quickly January is passing us by. But at the same time, it's bringing us closer to a secret that I've been hiding: my craft room is getting a HUGE overhaul! In actuality, our entire basement will undergo renovations starting mid-February, which includes of course my craft space. I'm talking walls and the ceiling coming down, new flooring, even a brand new, modern bathroom. And once it's all done, I'll have a brand new, brighter space to craft, and I do
Hello friends, and welcome to the first Friday favourites of the year! Friday favourites will continue to be published on a bi-weekly schedule. How was your week? Mine, besides my usual day job keeping me busy, I had one day off where I whipped up a few Valentine projects. I cannot wait to share them! But this week's FF doesn't look at Valentine's quite yet. So here are some general crafts for your weekend inspiration. From top left: DIY Matching Heart Earrings & Barrettes
Friends, I'm excited to "wrap" up the holidays with this FF post bringing you all kinds of gift wrapping ideas. If you're still in this stage, I hope you'll find some inspiration below. I also want to wish you all a very, merry Christmas! THANK YOU for another great year. It did come with its challenges (with my new job in January, the blog did slow down for a bit, and I did have close my online shop and switch solely to custom orders), but it also came with lots of ups (re
Happy Friday, friends! There's only one more FF post to go before Christmas, as well as for the year! I have already started to wind down for the season myself. I've been sharing Christmas crafts with you for nearly two months! It has been fun I will admit, but now our home is fully decked out, and all the gifts are pretty well wrapped, that it's time to move on and think about some ideas for next year. But if your holiday craft game is still going strong, be sure to check o

You, my friends, are in for a treat. For the next four Fridays, I'll have a new Friday favourites for you! You may have noticed that for some months now, I've been posting these every other week. With my sometimes crazy work schedule, I'm not blogging or crafting as much as I'd like to. BUT, the holidays are such an important time, and crafts are in abundance. I've been working so hard to get a few out myself. It just wouldn't feel like Christmas without them after all!
As you can see, I'm well into the Christmas projects. I have yet to decorate my house, or buy any gifts, but the crafts start wayyyy earlier in this house. It's just the way I like it :) Whether you've started, or thinking to start, I have a few ideas here today. There's a couple of non-holiday ones too (but change up the colours and you can make anything holiday!) As you may remember, White House Crafts was in the running for Best Craft Blog (International). The awards have since wrapped up, and unfortunately this little blog didn't win. I'm not sad; I'm still thrilled that I even had the opportunity to be in the running for this special honour, and I only have you to thank!
Below you're seeing some fun Halloween ideas, but behind the scenes, I'm crafting up some Christmas goodies that I cannot wait to share! Oh, let the real fun begin! I don't know why but from here until Valentine's, this is my favourite time for crafts. What about you? Hello friends, and happy almost first day of Fall! I wanted to start by thanking those of you who took the time to vote for this wee blog in this year's Amara Interior Blog Awards. The voting closed a few days ago, and I'll know by mid-next week if I've made the shortlist. I'm not counting on it, but it would be awesome! If I do, you'll be hearing about it for sure. Thanks again, friends. I really appreciate it! I have Fall-inspired projects to share in this week's Friday
Two things, friends. First, the voting for the Amara Interior Blog Awards is ending soon! In case you missed it, White House Crafts is nominated for the Best Craft Blog award! You can find more details and cast your vote in this post HERE.
